Leah Hancock is a mother of two beautiful daughter who she adores, a Virginia native, and the executive director and founder of Inspiration Health Addiction Treatment Center, LLC (IHAT). Leah has spent most of her adult life in the legal profession but early life experiences first as an EMT and also serving on the board of directors for a medical wellness clinic first evoked her passion for helping others in every aspect of life.
Personal tragedies and experiences related to her own life and that of friends involving trauma, substance abuse, and mental health disorders made Leah’s pursuit of opening IHAT her full time calling. Leah spent years researching subjects related to the treatment needs of individuals suffering from addictions and mental health disorders and assembling a team of premier caring and compassionate experts from the medical and behavioral health field to act as hands on treatment providers and directors of their respective departments at IHAT. Leah was also able to form collaborative associations with other prominent organizations, businesses, and leaders in this segment of public health to further expand the scope and depth of services that would be offered in collaboration with IHAT to meet an alarming nationwide urgent need.
When Leah is not hard at work, she enjoys spending time with her daughters, family, and friends. She also enjoys the beach, cooking, exercise, golf, soft-ball, and spending time with her bulldog “Buttons”.
