Meet the Team

Dr. David Langille, MD, brings over three decades of diverse medical experience to Inspiration Health. Specializing in addiction medicine and mental health medication management, Dr. Langille is dedicated to helping patients achieve recovery and maintain their well-being through comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans.

Dr. Langille earned his medical degree and completed his residency in emergency medicine, gaining board certification in 1992. He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Medicine, a testament to his commitment to excellence in patient care and professional development.

Before joining Inspiration Health, Dr. Langille served as an Addiction Medicine Physician and specialized in treating opioid dependency. His previous roles include working as a staff physician focusing on non-surgical treatments for chronic pain and joint issues, and serving as a Medical Director, where he oversaw weight loss and wellness programs.

Dr. Langille’s extensive emergency medicine background includes positions at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center and Emergency Physicians of Tidewater, where he practiced in multiple emergency departments and served on various medical committees. Additionally, he contributed to medical education as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School for over a decade.

At Inspiration Health, Dr. Langille combines his expertise in emergency medicine, chronic pain management, and addiction treatment to provide holistic care to his patients. His dedication to fostering strong patient-provider relationships and creating individualized treatment plans ensures that each patient receives the highest quality of care.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Langille enjoys staying active and engaged with the medical community, continuously learning and mentoring the next generation of healthcare providers. His leadership and vast experience make him a pivotal part of the Inspiration Health team, committed to transforming the lives of those struggling with substance use disorders and mental health challenges.
