A Comprehensive Guide to Addiction Treatment

April 3, 2021

Without knowing where to start, overcoming addiction and finding treatment can seem like a difficult and complicated process. You may know you need addiction treatment but simply not sure where to begin or if it will be right for you.

At Inspiration Health Addiction Treatment Center, we offer a comprehensive treatment program which is tailored to each individual’s needs. There are many choices you have and things we can do to make sure you get the help you need. Here’s a brief overview to help you learn more.

Office-Based Opiate Treatment

IHAT’s preferred office-based opiate treatment clinic can provide outpatient addiction medicine services for those suffering from opiate and alcohol addictions. This includes medical-assisted treatment, individual and group counseling, and care coordination.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) is a less restrictive option compared to traditional residential or partial hospitalization programs. In partnering with Lighthouse Therapeutic Services, the IOP is designed as a middle option for those with higher needs than a standard outpatient program without requiring as much time on-site. With IOP, telehealth becomes an option for some appointments, allowing you to have more time for work, classes, and fulfilling family and other commitments.

The weekly time commitment for our IOP program is usually 9 to 12 hours per week during times that are convenient to your schedule.

What Happens During Treatment?

What happens during treatment will depend on the type of treatment you get. If you are going through detox, you may be looking at more time in our clinic along with medical assisted treatment like Suboxone. For those engaging in outpatient treatment, you may receive similar services but in a way that works around your work and other responsibilities.

How Long Does Treatment Last?

The length of our treatment programs are tailored around each individual. Some may last around 30 days while others may go as long as 90. It’s important to figure out exactly where each individual is and what approach will be needed to treat them, and these are some factors that will influence how long each program is.
